Sustainability

Sustainability

Ethics • Performance • Responsibility

Sustainability isn't a buzzword at RHEA, it's a commitment woven into every stitch, every choice, and every piece we create. From the materials we source to the people who craft them, we're building activewear that honors your body, respects the planet, and protects the animals we share it with.

Our Materials

Recycled Materials

The majority of RHEA pieces are made from recycled polyester and spandex—giving new life to materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans.

Our Transform™ collection uses 100% recycled materials. Every base piece, every sleeve, every strap, every skirt. We're actively transitioning all RHEA pieces to recycled fabrics, phasing out older inventory and replacing it with responsibly sourced materials.

We don't compromise on performance. Our recycled fabrics are soft, durable, moisture-wicking, and built to move with you—proof that sustainability and quality can coexist.

Innovation

Transform™: Redefining Consumption

The Transform™ system isn't just activewear—it's a statement against overconsumption.

With patent-pending modular design, a single Transform™ base piece can be configured into 20+ different outfits. One garment replaces an entire wardrobe. You don't need to buy five different tops when one piece can be all of them.

This approach saves you money, reduces waste, and challenges the fast-fashion mentality that treats clothes as disposable. Transform™ proves that versatility and sustainability are not mutually exclusive—they're essential.

Fewer pieces. More possibilities. A happier planet.

Local Production

Made in Los Angeles

Most RHEA pieces are crafted locally in Downtown Los Angeles by skilled artisans who are paid fairly and work in safe conditions.

Local production means:

  • Lower carbon footprint: No overseas shipping or massive supply chain emissions
  • Quality control: I work directly with my team to ensure every piece meets RHEA's standards
  • Ethical labor: Fair wages, humane working conditions, and respect for the people who bring RHEA to life

A few pieces from the early days of RHEA were produced elsewhere, but we're actively phasing those out and transitioning production entirely to our LA team. Transparency matters.

Our Mission

7% for the Animals

7% of every RHEA purchase goes directly to The Gentle Barn.

Every sports bra, every pair of leggings, every Transform™ piece you buy feeds, shelters, and heals animals who have survived unimaginable cruelty. The Gentle Barn rescues animals from abuse, neglect, and slaughter, giving them a safe home for the rest of their lives.

I work closely with The Gentle Barn and am honored to support their mission. Animals deserve compassion, not exploitation and RHEA exists, in part, to give them a voice.

When you wear RHEA, you're not just choosing sustainable activewear. You're choosing kindness.

Built to Last

Longevity Over Trends

RHEA pieces aren't designed for a season—they're designed for years.

We stand behind our quality with a 2-year, 100% guarantee. If anything goes wrong—pilling, seam issues, degradation—we'll replace it, no questions asked. Because when you invest in RHEA, you're investing in activewear that lasts.

Fast fashion thrives on disposability. RHEA thrives on durability. Timeless design. Quality fabrics. Garments that move with you, wash after wash, workout after workout.

Every Detail

Sustainable Packaging

We ship all orders in recycled poly bags and cardboard boxes. No excess. No waste. Just your pieces, protected and ready to move.

Even the smallest details matter when you're building a brand that respects the planet.

100% Vegan

Every RHEA piece is completely vegan. No leather. No wool. No silk. No animal-derived materials of any kind. Performance and compassion are not opposites—they're partners.

Our Philosophy

What Sustainability Means to Us

Sustainability isn't about perfection—it's about progress. It's about asking better questions, making better choices, and being honest about where we are and where we're going.

At RHEA, sustainability means using recycled materials, supporting local manufacturing, designing garments that last, reducing consumption through innovation, protecting animals, and refusing to compromise on ethics for the sake of profit.

It's not preachy. It's not performative. It's just the right way to build something meaningful. We're not perfect, but we're committed. And we'll keep doing better.
